Sure, project management is about scheduling, delegation and keeping deadlines.
But it’s more than that. Today’s teams are highly distributed and diverse. Projects therefore require collaborative leadership skills like contextual intelligence, problem-solving and creating an environment of trust. my work experience.

  • A client in the financial sector needed help to transform a complex and dated IT workplace with a high dependency on one single provider.

    By defining several workplace services and initiating a tendering process for them individually, we were able to create a modern, secure and collaborative target picture, as well as reduce the provider dependency.

  • This project’s scope was a large-scale transformation towards a cloud based collaboration software. In the end, over 190.000 employees were migrated to the new suite of apps.

    My role was that of the German SPOC in an international, agile project environment.

    In the transformation planning and preparation we developed a startegy to efficiently migrate high amounts of employees.

    After the rollout a big focus was on change management and communication campaigns to improve user adoption and ensure employees were quickly able to use the new tools and embrace the cultural change those new tools required.

  • The client had issues with the operational stability of several sales applications.

    My team was asked to investigate the IT architecture and to perform a root cause analysis to improve the avaliability of their application landscape.

    By anchoring their recently established Site Reliability Engineering roles in the Devops environment we enabled the client to work quickly and efficiently.

    By implementing a uniform risk assessment and prioritization logic for changes and an ITSM-harmonized change process we helped the client to successfully manage their complex application landscape.

  • The client had a high volume of invoices and no way to automatically capture and route them. Employees were spending large amounts of time on manual, repetitive tasks.

    By implementing an SAP-based solution, the accounts payable process was drastically improved.

    The invoice capturing was widely automated with the help of an Optical Character Recognition solution and with the help of workflow-based approvals, the process is now faster and less error-prone.

    Scope: End to end responsibility for requirements management, technical conception and implementation as well as execution of customer workshops and trainings.
